Flip each piece out of the container onto a cutting board when ready to serve.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eHalva lasts for 4-6 months when stored in a cool, dry place, but we hope you eat it all before then! You can leave your halva in the small containers it ships in or in a similar airtight container. We don't recommend freezing halva, as it will damage the delicate, flaky texture.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eUnopened tahini lasts for 2 years when stored in a cool, dry place. Store opened jars of tahini for up to 12 months in the fridge, to maintain freshness and slow the separation of natural oil in the sesame seeds, which may start to occur after a few months.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eIf you notice that your tahini has a layer of oil at the top, that doesn’t mean its gone bad!
